Excellent US M1918 Fighting Knife Complete With Original & Correct Scabbard - WWII Interest..!

An excellent example of the classic M1918 fighting knife. In wonderful condition and complete with scabbard. The blade retaining most of its original finish. Overall length 11 1/2” with a blade of 6 7/8”. The flared guards have been slightly modified by bending them a little, this was a popular modification during WWII especially amongst Airborne troops in order to wear the knife closer to the body.
