Splendid & Original 1941 Wilkinson First Pattern F-S Fighting Knife & Scabbard

A really lovely and original example of the classic 1941 Wilkinson First Pattern F-S complete with its original and correct scabbard. Showing only very light use and wear but clearly an example that was issued, carried and used. A fabulous full length blade at 6 3/4” showing some very light sharpening and some light age staining, both etchings are strong and clear. A solid hilt retaining much of its original plating with an intact and original pommel nut. The great knife comes with it’s original scabbard, also in wonderful and complete condition, retaining both of its original wings and snap-fastener, the latter having a period repair (see photo)
